Publishes articles written and approved in Searchlark to your WordPress site.

== Description ==

* Creates or updates posts (never duplicates: each article is matched by its Searchlark key).
* Sets the Yoast SEO, Rank Math or SEOPress title, description and focus keyword (All in One SEO: title and description).
* Adds FAQ structured data.
* Applies the site health fixes you approve in Searchlark (page titles, meta descriptions, image alt text) and undoes them on request.
* Searchlark notifies the site with a signed request; the plugin also checks every 15 minutes.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin and activate it.
2. In Searchlark, open Integrations and click Connect WordPress. Copy the site key.
3. In WordPress, open Settings, Searchlark, paste the key and save.

== Upgrade Notice ==

= 0.5.0 =
Adds the Searchlark Journeys snippet to your public pages when you turn Journeys on in Searchlark.

= 0.4.1 =
Clearer messages when a site key is refused, and the status line no longer says Connected after a refused key.

= 0.4.0 =
Lets Searchlark apply the site health fixes you approve, with undo. Older versions get copy-ready fixes instead.

= 0.3.0 =
Renamed from the earlier "kestrel" plugin folder. Activating 0.3.0 copies your settings, switches the old plugin off and reconnects. You can then delete the old plugin.

== Changelog ==

= 0.5.0 =
* When Journeys is on in Searchlark, prints its cookieless snippet on public pages (within 15 minutes of turning it on or off). Logged-in editors are not recorded.
* Uninstalling removes the Journeys setting too.

= 0.4.1 =
* When Searchlark refuses a key, the settings page says why in a plain sentence, for example which site the key belongs to, instead of an error code.
* The notice after saving appears once instead of twice.
* After a refused key the status reads "Not connected: the site key was not accepted" instead of the earlier "Connected".

= 0.4.0 =
* Applies title, meta description and image alt text fixes you approve in Searchlark, through a signed request like publishing. Each fix can be undone from Searchlark, which restores the previous values.
* After an update the plugin reconnects by itself (on the next admin page or within 15 minutes), so Searchlark knows which version you run.
* Writes to Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress or All in One SEO when installed, and prints its own title and description on any page when none of them does.
* All in One SEO: published articles now get its title and description too, and the plugin no longer prints a second description tag or a second Article node next to it.

= 0.3.1 =
* The plugin description no longer lists featured images, which Searchlark doesn't send today. If an article ever includes one, the plugin still sets it.
* Rank Math: until its setup wizard is finished or skipped, Rank Math prints no title or description. The plugin now prints its own until then, instead of leaving the page without them.
* Article structured data is kept with SEOPress, which doesn't print its own. With Yoast SEO or Rank Math, the plugin still adds only the FAQ, so nothing is duplicated.

= 0.3.0 =
* Renamed to Searchlark. Settings and post data from the "kestrel" plugin move over on activation.
* Saving a site key for the first time now connects straight away. Before, a fresh install needed a click on Reconnect.
